How much does a notary cost and do you travel to me?
For General notarizations, acknowledgment or jurat, The California Secretary of State sets a standard fee of no more than $15.00 per notarized signature. For real estate documents I offer a standard pricing usually set by your escrow company. Travel fee is based on distance and urgency. I am all over Bakersfield daily and if you do not have an urgent document that needs a signature immediately, the mobile fee maybe waived if I am in that area of town. I service all of Kern County including Taft, Maricopa, Buttonwillow, Wasco, Shafter, Delano, McFarland, Lamont, Arvin and Tehachapi. Call now to get a quote.
Will my bank notarize my documents for free?
Most banks will not notarize a document not produced in and solely for their bank.
Although banks have certified notary publics, their main interests are for internal bank documents. If you need a Will or a Deed notarized, most bank will not offer the service to you.
What is a Notary Public?
